Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, stems, flowers and seeds from the hemp plant Cannabis. CBD and THC are in cannabis, they both have different effects and uses that range from recreational to medically ground-breaking. One in seven Americans (14%) use CBD products, but as high as over 45% of Americans over the age of 12 use Marijuana. It is time we know the medical, mental, social and legal ramifications of these substances. Marijuana is often classified as a depressant, although it has stimulant and hallucinogenic properties. Studies have shown that those who smoked in their teens lost an average of 8 IQ points. Beside respiratory risks from smoking it, there are psychological, cardiovascular disease and cancer risks.

Is it safe for everyone?

Our outstanding faculty will provide information about this most commonly used substance – its medicinal uses, formulations, risks when used by youth (growing brain) recreationally, and help you decide whether it is right for you.

“Knowledge is Power.” Do not miss this very informative seminar to help improve our health and that of the community. Please attend with friends, family and children.
